The 2010 maple season was a mixed bag, with many regions experiencing reduced production. In Vermont the crop was down about 7%, but still exceeded the 10 year average by a significant amount. Our season was shorter than normal, but production was slightly above average. The quality and flavor of this year's crop is excellent.
