News from Vermont Maple country
Greetings from Vermont! Despite shortages of syrup produced in some areas we have a full inventory of all grades of syrup. Our syrup sales have been steady all summer, and we expect a busy fall season.
We have had a rainy summer which hopefully translates into a great growing season. The trees look very healthy and so far we have avoided wind damage from the frequent strong storms.
Our fall woods maintainence will start soon with some thinning (weed tree removal), and then some tubing system upgrades. Our production depends on a well maintained collection system.
